Australia has seen a huge growth in regenerative farming over the last two decades, as the improvement in paddock condition and environmental impact became increasingly evident. I've worked for a few regen and permaculture farmers over the years, and it's been encouraging to see more and more farmers join the movements. Rising Sun farms are one of the newer enterprises, offering farmgate sales and deliveries to customers all over SE Queensland. They began with free range chickens, and have moved into wool and livestock production with the same ethos. Seeing the change in their farm's landscape and ecosystems encouraged them to do more, and I loved their enthusiasm, and the carefully set up environments all the animals enjoyed.
